The successful general electronics specialist Steca Elektronik GmbH with its two business divisions E2MS/ODM and Solar & Energy changed its name to KATEK Memmingen GmbH on 25 November. Together with another change of name within the KATEK Memmingen GmbH group of companies, this underscores a now uniform and consistent appearance for customers, suppliers as well as employees. This is an important factor in developing successful long-term relationships. Steca will be retained as a product brand in order to express to our global customers and business partners in the solar & energy sector in particular that the high quality of our products will be maintained and our ‘Made in Germany’ expertise will be constantly expanded.

says Managing Director Klauspeter Bader: Blue is the corporate colour of the KATEK Group, which will also being used at the Memmingen site from now on. Under the new KATEK Memmingen GmbH umbrella, the following will appear on letterheads, business cards and the homepage: ‘KATEK Memmingen GmbH – Lead the Category’ as well as ‘Steca – A KATEK Brand’ in the product area Solar & Energy. The internationally successful and recognised Steca product brand will be retained. This means that the popular solar & energy products from the general electronics service provider will continue to be offered to their growing customer base under the name of ‘Steca – A KATEK Brand’ in the future.
Yet another name change will also create a more uniform appearance across the entire group of companies: ETL Elektrotechnik Lauter GmbH has become KATEK Mauerstetten GmbH.
